Choosing Beipu devices: budget shoppers edition (70 W)
Beipu devices advice for Greece, covering nicotine levels, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting beipu devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. The build quality on Freemax Maxus is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
Budget matters in Greece, but with beipu devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 30:70 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 90, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
The Graphite finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 30:70 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Graphite finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Expect roughly 1731 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Greece is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 30:70 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Greece
Availability in Greece is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EUR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
